Overview
Foday Dumbuya, founder and creative director of London-based label LABRUM, was named winner of the BFC/GQ Designer Fashion Fund 2026. The Sierra Leone-born designer was selected by a panel including Laura Weir (CEO of the British Fashion Council), Murray Clark (Head of Editorial Content at British GQ), Angelo Mitakos, Skepta, Tahir Basheer, Simon Longland, Lewis Bloyce, and Rudy Simba Betty.
To celebrate the win, Purple PR, GQ, and the BFC hosted an intimate dinner for Foday Dumbuya in partnership with Moët & Chandon, Whispering Angel, and Hennessy at 180 House. DO CULTURE was commissioned to capture photography from the evening for social and press use.
